Parental control
AVM FRITZ Rotuer!Box 3490, thanks to its advanced parental control features, allows you to supervise the time you spend online and the sites you visit. Web filtering allows you to specify a black list (blocked from entering sites) and a white list (only sites on this list can be visited). Each device (e.g., computer, tablet or game console) may have a limited pool of minutes to use for Internet usage. It is even possible to assign several devices to the same pool of minutes. After the limit is exhausted, it is possible, after entering a unique code, to extend the network access time.

The router's software is constantly updated to always meet the highest security standards. The router even has the ability to activate the automatic update option, so that the entire process takes place without user participation.
