AVM GmbH. Alt-Moabit 95, 10559 Berlin, which is the manufacturer of this original product, provides a 2-year warranty on FRITZ series devices!Powerline, FRITZ!DECT and FRITZ!Fon and a 5-year warranty on FRITZ devices!Box and FRITZ!Repeater covering product defects that result from material defects or manufacturing errors. This warranty does not limit the consumer's statutory rights in the case of defects, which are repaired free of charge.
The warranty period starts from the date of purchase by the first end user. The validity of the warranty must be confirmed by submitting the original invoice given to the first end-user or other comparable documents and by sending the defective product. Before sending the product back, our support department will send you a link to the so-called "RMA form", after filling it out, which you will receive an RMA number to mark the package for shipment back. The RMA number should be clearly and legibly marked on the package accordingly. The shipping address and method of shipment at our expense will be communicated by e-mail in response to the completed service form. The product must be shipped within 14 days after the RMA number is assigned. The product should be discontinued without the original carton and accessories, carefully packed and protected for transportation. AVM assumes no responsibility for transport damage. Shipments without an indicated RMA number, shipped COD or not fully paid for, or shipments without an accompanying proof of purchase will not be handled and will be returned to the sender COD: in such cases, we reserve the right to charge a flat administrative fee of up to €35.
During the warranty period, we will remove reported hardware defects in the product resulting from material defects or manufacturing errors. Unfortunately, we exclude defects caused by improper installation, operation, failure to follow operating instructions, ordinary wear and tear or damage to the system environment (hardware or third-party software). In this case, we reserve the right to return the product without realizing the claim and charge a flat administrative fee of EUR 35. We can choose to repair or supply replacement items. AVM pays for transportation of the repaired or replaced product.
Claims other than those mentioned in these warranty terms and conditions the right to rectify product defects are not justified by this warranty. We guarantee that the software meets general specifications, but we do not guarantee that it meets your individual needs. Shipping costs are not refunded. In case of warranty, the replaced products become our property, while the new product becomes the property of the consumer. Warranty benefits do not extend or start anew the warranty period. If a warranty claim is rejected by us, it shall be barred no later than six months from the date of rejection. All claims arising out of or in connection with this warranty are covered by German law, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
Disposal instructions
Disposal of electronic devices and parts
In accordance with European product directives, the FRITZ! and the electronic parts in the package should not be disposed of together with household waste, mixed waste and waste made of plastic, metal or composite materials.
FRITZ device! and all electronic parts in the package should be taken to a municipal electro-waste collection point for proper disposal. Also, distributors of electronic devices are required to collect electronic waste free of charge.

Crossed-out trash can symbol on the nameplate of FRITZ products! means that the user has a statutory obligation to properly hand over the used device for disposal separately from household waste.
If the FRITZ device! contains unattached batteries, rechargeable batteries or bulbs that can be removed, remove them without destroying them. Batteries, rechargeable batteries and light bulbs should also not be disposed of with household waste, mixed waste and waste made of plastic, metal or composite materials.
Discharged batteries and rechargeable batteries should be delivered to a municipal collection point or to a collection point in a store.
Data protection
As end users of the FRITZ product! you are responsible for deleting personal data from disposed devices Before turning off the FRITZ device! from use and its disposal, you should remove your individual settings and personal data from it.
